BaptistCare Orana is seeking an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to oversee the Lifestyle and Activities calendar and lifestyle care planning.

The role involves developing, implementing, participating, and monitoring a Lifestyle program that optimizes the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, participate, and manage events and group activities and lifestyle resources.
  • Build and develop volunteers, train and support staff in activities to ensure provision of optimum level of person-centered service to all clients.
  • Drive the engagement and participation of residents into a range of social, recreational, and cultural activities, as well as mental health and wellbeing programs that empower our residents' choices and independence.
  • Plan and organize all recreational activity programs, ensuring individual residents' needs, values, spiritual, and cultural preferences are taken into account.
About You
  • MUST have Cert IV Lifestyle and Leisure or equivalent.
  • Be experienced in applying adult learning principles and competencies in teaching and program development.
  • Have highly developed relationship building, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Have knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards and experience delivering learning outcomes under the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
