About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of Open Space Projects at the City of Port Phillip. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of Open Space Projects, including construction management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide sound design advice and support to project delivery teams, internal stakeholders, and sponsors.
  • Contribute to a cohesive and innovative team culture, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, ensuring effective project governance and risk management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize project opportunities, and develop business cases to support project proposals.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Landscape Architecture, Open Space, or equivalent.
  • Substantial experience in managing whole-of-life public open space projects, including construction management.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality project management and integrated outcomes.
  • Community consultation and stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience in managing open space and recreation capital works projects in a local government context is desirable.
