Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and facilitate recreational activities and programs for prisoners, including sports, arts, and cultural events
- Assess the recreation needs of prisoners and develop programs to meet those needs
- Communicate effectively with prisoners, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of programs
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for improvement
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience in developing and delivering recreation programs in a correctional setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the principles of rehabilitation and reintegration
