The role


Your primary area of focus as the HRBP is to ensure that we have the best team of people working for IPF Digital Australia, whose skills are aligned to our business requirements and who have a positive can-do attitude in order to make things happen.

You will partner with the Country Manager, Australia, in order to develop the business to its full potential.

This will include the full range of HR activities from ensuring that the team are selected, assessed, hired, rewarded and developed to be at the top of their game.


You will be a hands on person that is not afraid to roll their sleeves up and is just as comfortable defining strategy as getting on and doing the operational HR work.

You will deliver a pro-active HR service for the Australian IPF Digital business covering the full suite of HR services.

You will find enabling HR solutions to deliver the business strategy and to ensure we are kicking our organisational goals.


In addition to taking care of our people based in Australia, you will also be part of a global HR team across IPF Digital and as such will be involved in global HR projects and initiatives that impact people across all 11 geographical locations where IPF Digital team members are based.


Responsibilities

Here's an example of your day to day:

  • Implementing people strategies that attract, develop and retain talent
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders for the effective delivery of people strategies, including aligning performance, capability, engagement and talent initiatives
  • Partnering with leaders to develop engagement initiatives with a commercial mindset and passion for continuous improvement and innovation
  • Providing actionable insights to leaders on trends in people data and providing support and coaching to act on this data
  • Managing the implementation of people change initiatives
  • Coaching our leaders and employees to become high performing teams
  • Provide specialist advice and case management on relevant employee relations matters including probation processes, performance management, misconduct, grievances, employee wellbeing
  • Manage the offboarding process, including exit survey and exit interview data analysis and reporting, identifying continuous improvement opportunities and developing retention strategies to reduce workforce turnover
  • Understand and interpret Awards in order to make recommendations
  • Manage safety documentation and risk mitigation processes and systems, including running the WHS committee and annual review
  • Lead training in safety, policy updates and other areas as required
  • Review, implement and create all IPFD policies across HR and Safety
  • Providing individual and team based development solutions to support talent management and succession planning and the individual needs of the team

Requirements:

Here's what experience we need from you:

  • Qualification in Human Resources
  • Minimum five years' experience in Human Resources with HRBP experience (financial services industry desirable)
  • Strong working knowledge of Australia workplace laws
  • Fair Work, Award Interpretation, Safety Legislation
  • Excellent knowledge of all aspects of HR management
  • Experience in building relationships and building rapport with people from all walks of life
  • Experience dealing with an array of people issues, including but not limited to, performance management, ER issues, coaching and troubleshooting on sensitive people topics
  • Highly focused capacity for executio
