Description

The key responsibilities and duties of the role:

  • Trade marketing and promotional planning for existing and new products and brands.
  • Collaborate closely with Japan Headquarter and Managing Director to implement the client's marketing strategy and methodology into marketing activities.
  • Establish close relationships with brokers and distributors to offer training regarding products and promotions and conduct negotiations based on the marketing strategy/plans.
  • Manage the new product plans, artworks of promotion tools, and marketingrelated missions.
  • Budget management and cost control within the marketing promotional activities.
  • Data management and updating marketing and sales progress in the system.
  • General administrative tasks and adhock duties if required.

Profile

In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:

  • Japanese speaking is highly preferred and full professional English proficiency is required.
  • Previous experience in Marketing roles in Australia and/or Japan.
  • Marketing or product management experience in a distributor (ideally in FMCG) is desired, but not essential.
  • Proven track record of negotiation skills and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well organized, enthusiastic, selfmotivated, and goal orientated
  • Ability to work independently and perform well with minimum supervision
  • Professional business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Full work rights in Australia and able to work fulltime.
