Our client is an innovative Not for Profit organisation and one of Australia's largest peak bodies with a large focus on training, development, and advocacy across the sector.


The Position
Report

ing directly to the General Manager - Services, the Workforce Development Consultant's primary responsibilities will be:

  • A thorough training needs analysis, identifying gaps in the market for training.
  • An intensive stocktake of current training products on offer, including reviewing IP, analysing if these meet sector requirements, and quality control.
  • Ensuring all aspects of accredited and nonaccredited training requirements are being met.
  • A full review of the current team structure and allocation of services.

The Person
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum diploma level in education (vocational) and training and a solid understanding of the VET sector and its requirements.
  • Experience in running training needs analysis to identify gaps in the market for new training or modification of existing training.
  • Prior experience working with the vocational/higher education sector, the community services sector, and with private training providers.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
