We are looking for someone to strengthen the team in charge of organising the biggest women's sporting event in the world:

the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia New Zealand 202- To ensure the successful operational delivery of the ninth edition of this competition, we have set up a Local FIFA Subsidiary (LFS).

Its aim is to improve the experience of over 1.1 billion people watching the FIFA Women's World Cup, by delivering innovative solutions across all operational areas.


  • We are currently looking to recruit TWO

FIFA VIP Coordinators (Social Activities).

Job responsibilities

  • Support the development of a robust leisure activities and companion programme for V/VIP guests
  • Integration and inclusion of existing programmes into the overall V/VIP calendar of events and offering, and Host Country Side Events Programme
  • Support the creative development of bespoke, unique and exclusive events and activities for the V/VIP guests
  • Serve as a point of contact onsite for DMCs, suppliers, and guests in the implementation of the side events programme
  • Support the development of the leisure and companion programme operations
  • Close collaboration with Guest Relations, Guest Operations, and internal stakeholders and departments in developing turnkey solutions to overall guest management for leisure activities
  • Onsite management of VIK sponsor requirements and implementation where applicable
  • Demonstrate impeccable guest service abilities, with the ability to receive, escalate and resolve guest queries in a timely manner related to the side events and leisure programme
  • Work closely with the Guest Operations, Guest Relations and external suppliers to plan and accommodate for guests with special requirements
  • Support the delivery of world class training programs for service staff and suppliers, focusing on excellence and 'wow' customer service
  • Participate in regular planning meetings and reviews, promoting excellent project management and reporting skills
  • Preparation of any documents/presentations as required
  • Other tasks and duties as required or assigned by the Manager Guest Experience (Service Excellence, Side Events & Leisure)
  • Support tour companies on leisure events days.

  • The specific competencies we require for this position are:

Qualifications & experience and skills

  • Relevant work experience in Event Management and / or Guest Management Experience
  • Relevant work experience in Tourism
  • Familiarity with V/VIP environment, highend hospitality, and Guest Management
  • English fluency spoken and written (required)
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project)
  • Planning software and online collaboration tools (an asset)
  • Previous experience and ability to understand CADs and site plans
  • Good understanding of organisational processes and policies
  • Ability to resolve guest concerns expeditiously and independently
  • Ability to shape and deliver operational excellence in teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • A collaborator who is able to foster good working relationships;
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills;
  • Good networking skills
  • Time management and the ability to prioritize a varied workload;

  • The FIFA Women's World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023 Local Entity was established after the two host countries were awarded the hosting rights to the world's biggest women's sporting event in June 2020.
  • The Entity, with offices in Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau and Sydney/Gadigal, is tasked with delivering the tournament for 32 teams (up from 24 in 2019) in ten stadiums across 9 host cities in New Zealand and Australia from 20 July to 20 August 202
