Its aim is to improve the experience of over 1.1 billion people watching the FIFA Women's World Cup, by delivering innovative solutions across all operational areas.

Job responsibilities

  • The Regional Logistics Manager works closely with the AUS Logistics Manager to ensure the most favourable conditions for the successful delivery of Local and International movements within/across various locations and operating areas such as an LSP, Event Logistics Compounds &/or 3rd Party providers with the delivery of the overall Logistics plan & operations for the upcoming FIFA Women's World Cups 202
  • This role is responsible for scoping and sourcing venue FF&E for FWWC2023 and the provision of supply chain support for other defined client groups.

The Regional Logistics Manager - Sydney Venues will be responsible for:

  • Overall responsibility for Venue Logistics services and sub-projects as defined by the Logistics Manager to their assigned regional venues.
  • Plan, design, implement and operate all logistics operations to the assigned venues.
  • Develop training plans and build motivated teams with staff provided by logistics service provider.
  • Control and manage logistics resources (MHE, vehicles, staff) across assigned venues.
  • Working in conjunction with the logistics coordinator, venue management and security teams to develop venue delivery guides for the assigned cluster of venues including master delivery schedule (MDS) development/activation.
  • Working with other functional areas (FA) develop assets bump in, venue distribution and bump out schedules for tournament assets.
  • Manage the construction, distribution and setup of Furniture, Fixture & Equipment (FF&E) to their assigned cluster of venues.
  • Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment and be compliant with regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with asset dissolution plan, Implementation and design where required
  • Attend workshops, logistics activities, meeting and events in which Logistics Coordination is required
  • Provide timelines and accurate reporting to senior management
