The Opportunity
$100k - 110k (experience-based) + Super & Commissions
Car & fuel card or option for allowance
We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team based in Alexandria
As a successful applicant, you will focus on seeking and securing new business with small to medium domestic builders in NSW. Reporting to the B2B State Manager, you will be responsible for achieving an assigned sales profit goal and developing strong relationships to ensure repeat business.
Your responsibilities will include
- Build new relationships with small to medium domestic builders in a pre-determined geographical zone
- Drive to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Build the customer base in your assigned territory through cold calls, trade shows and event participation, and all appropriate outbound sales activities
- Communicate and build relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Developers and Builders and negotiate supply contracts and tenders
- Present market-leading products
- Provide excellent customer service through the entire sales process
- Use your established sales skills to close deals
- Be a self-managed sales professional with at least 5 years of experience
- Be self-motivated and solutions orientated
- Be able to communicate at any level with a diverse clientele
- Have the ability to close the deal when the opportunity presents
- Be a team player
- Be results-oriented, with an excellent ability to utilise and manage the organisation's resources to achieve sales targets
- Display high energy and passion towards solving real-world customer needs
- Be able to work autonomously
