Location: Ringwood
Maroondah City Council has an exciting opportunity for an innovative, motivated and talented Community Planning and Engagement Officer to work closely with a project team to help develop the Maroondah 2050 Community Vision and new Council Plan.
The role will enable you to participate in the creative planning and inclusive implementation of a broad range of best practice community engagement activities.
Importantly you will have a commitment to embracing innovative approaches to engaging with our community, to successfully identify the Maroondah community's aspirations and priorities into the future.
Working with a wide range of key stakeholders in the community and across Council, the role requires experience in working with the community as well as the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholder groups, have a passion for supporting inclusive participation in community activities, and be highly motivated by the opportunity this project presents in shaping the future directions for Council and the Maroondah community.
