We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Officer to lead our purchasing team at Eastern Health. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing the buying process from requisition to purchase orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the purchasing team with a hands-on approach to ensure effective buying processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers to meet their needs in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Utilize Oracle (or similar software package) to manage purchasing activities.
  • Ensure excellent organizational skills, time management capabilities, and advanced interpersonal communication skills.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve shared goals.
