We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Principal Specialist, Supplier Performance & Management who is keen to establish themselves within the business and drive efficiencies within the team.


As the Principal Specialist, Supplier Performance & Management you will partner with all areas of the business to support supplier performance assessments and undertake deeper analysis of the supplier base.

This would include providing reporting and data analysis across a range of variables to support activities related to the management of local and overseas subcontractors and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Supplier Performance Management framework.
  • Assist supplier performance improvement plans and maintain overall broad awareness on supplier concerns.
  • Analyse and report on supplier performance trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Assist contractual actions regarding supplier performance management.
  • Monitor supplier capability, capacity, and financial health within industry and geopolitical environment.
  • Gather and analyses relevant supplier data to maintain and manage the Supplier Performance Dashboard.
  • Create and maintain a supplier management database incorporating all intelligence sources, market data, approval, and assessment statuses to be utilised by all functions as a central repository of information.
  • Assist the business with supplier data to inform selection and sourcing decisions.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Requires a University Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience with advanced knowledge of supply chain and/or program management.
  • Demonstrated experience in procurement, supply chain, or contracts, including the contract administration and vendor management activities.
  • Desirable to have experience in commercial negotiations and development of customer and vendor relationships.
  • Previous demonstrated experience in government contracts and procurement processes is desirable.
  • Selfstarter and ability to work with mínimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate and sell ideas.
