- Reporting to the Chief Security Officer (CSO) the Security Advisor will be assigned duties to support Program security requirements, as per the contracts held. This will require liaison with multiple stakeholders including Program customers, Commonwealth of Australia, Security Managers and Information System Security Managers.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Work in consultation with assigned Program Management teams and local site management or an assigned task manager and in direct liaison with the Chief Security Officer (CSO) to provide security representation to Lockheed Martin Australia Programs and facilities located in the region
- Maintain, implement, co-ordinate and oversee all security measures for the protection of Defence information, assets and equipment under the control of assigned Programs
- Execute security officer/advisor role typical to a defence environment with expectation to perform transactional activities associated with a Security Officer role and provide support to local site management and employees
- Additional assistance and guidance will be provided by the CSO or other Company Security Subject Matter Experts in support of complex or unusual matters
- Support Program security requirements as per the contracts held
- Assist corporate security and the regional security representative (Regional Security Manager) with the development and update of Crisis Management planning and execution

**About you**:

- Previous experience performing a Defence Security Officer role
- Experience working to Defence Industrial Security Program (DISP) requirements, working to Security principles, publications concepts, practices and standards as applied to both Defence and Industry Companies and Suppliers
- Currency and knowledge of the Security Policy frameworks both PSPF and DSPF

Any of the following would be highly desirable:

- Experience working within highly classified Defence security program environments and facilities
- Demonstrated experience / exposure to a similar role as a Defence or Defence Industry Security Officer/Advisor

**Special Requirements**:

- Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a current or re-instatable NV1 Defence Security Clearance
