The Role
We are looking for an experienced Stakeholder Engagement professional motivated by working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
As a key member of the team you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to deliver best practice communications and stakeholder engagement on the Northern Transitway Project.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing communications materials such as work notifications about construction activities for distribution to stakeholders including businesses on Gympie Road.
- Maintaining communication channels in a timely and effective manner with impacted stakeholders such as Gympie Road businesses, residents and the wider community including organising and participating in facetoface meetings, door knocks, and regular notification distribution.
- Advising the Senior Stakeholder Engagement Advisor of outcomes or issues arising from stakeholder meetings, and of any stakeholder issues that are likely to escalate, generate negative media or impact on the project's reputation.
- Educate the wider project team of the media and community engagements protocols, and acceptable behaviours to ensure there is positive public perception of the project team within the community.
- Ensuring accurate and timely document management through the Consultation Manager System (CMS).**
About You
About you
- Minimum of 2 years in industry/equivalent with experience in a communication and stakeholder engagement role ideally within the infrastructure sector.
- High level verbal and written skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in influencing internal and external stakeholders, and ability to present in public.
- Working knowledge and understanding of civil construction, digital media, and Consultation Management System (CMS) Version 4 to support community engagement.
- Current Queensland or equivalent Australian state driver's license.
