About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our Learning Experience team at C&K - The Creche and Kindergarten. As an Instructional Designer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our strategic vision by designing, developing, and embedding innovative, sustainable, and learner-centered experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Learning Experience Team, key stakeholders, and subject matter experts to analyze and provide expertise on workforce performance that can be enhanced through contemporary adult learning strategies.
- Proactively engage in research and development to stay at the forefront of industry trends and best practices, ensuring our learning solutions remain innovative and effective.
- Maintain strong relationships with multiple teams across the business to ensure our strategies align with business needs, while providing subject matter expertise and guidance to support a culture of continuous learning.
- Use contemporary assessment techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of adult learning programs, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure they are designed according to instructional design principles, and conducting ongoing evaluations to promote participant reflection, retention, and application in the workplace.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role curating online courses and educational content with exposure to LITMOS LMS, Articulate Storyline, RISE, and Camtasia is highly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships across multiple teams with a client-focused approach and a thorough understanding of adult learning processes and methodologies.
- Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (within three months or willing to obtain these - we will cover the cost of both).
- Tertiary qualifications in e-Learning, Education, Instructional Design, Information Technology, along with qualifications in Graphic or Multimedia Design - these are highly regarded but not essential.
- Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment is also preferable.
