The Organisation


Owned and operated by Adelaide Venue Management (AVM), the world-class Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC) offers a recently renovated, state-of-the-art kitchen—considered one of the best equipped in the country.


The Role


Due to increased business levels and team expansion, a newly created opportunity has become available for a tech savvy Administrator to join the Kitchen brigade.

Based in the ACC Main Kitchen and reporting to the Senior Kitchen team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of duties to support the Special Diets function as well as general kitchen operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Streamline dietary information to ensure correct and accurate information is being shared across kitchen sections.
  • Actively contact guests to provide a proactive approach to strict special dietary needs.
  • Actively contribute to weekly Operations meetings and efficiently coordinate all necessary follow up actions on behalf of the Kitchen.
  • Monitor and record all relevant Food Safety data and report to the Chef Tournant.
  • Provide admin support to Food Safety and WHS Sous chef.
  • Provide rostering data entry support for Executive Sous Chef

About you

  • Positive and selfmotivated.
  • Enthusiastic, flexible and innovative.
  • High level literacy and numeracy skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Tech savvy, intermediate skills with Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word) and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Demonstrated ability of working effectively both autonomously and within a small team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to set and achieve goals.
