Role Description: Join us for an exciting opportunity as a Senior Security System Officer on a contract basis for our government partner. In this role, you'll oversee electronic and physical security systems to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management. With a mix of on-site and remote work options, this position is based in Sydney, NSW.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement robust people and asset protection systems, including cameras and access controls, to bolster security infrastructure.
  • Assist in setting security priorities and guidelines for a seamless working environment.
  • Establish and enforce security standards, offering insights on specifications and policies to ensure compliance.
  • Enhance security control rooms, alarm protocols, and guard services for optimized performance.
  • Execute security projects to address the Department's security needs and enhance emergency response measures.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Maintain conflict of interest deeds for utmost independence.
  • Demonstrate expertise in electronic security systems in complex settings, including product knowledge and integration.
  • Efficiently manage competing priorities and work volumes to meet Department objectives.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to gather relevant security information and develop tailored security solutions.

Essential Requirements:

  • Hold or eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Baseline security clearance and a clear Criminal Records Inquiry.
  • Possess electronic security certifications or equivalent experience.
