About the Role

The Cyber Security and Platform Administrator role is a critical position within HCF Australia, responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administration of all IT security and compliance services, including vulnerability management, SIEM, and patch management.
  • Implementation and support of the production IT environment across on-premise and cloud platforms.
  • Ensuring the implementation and enforcement of cyber security, compliance, and governance policies and practices.
  • Delivery of high-quality technical outcomes and implementation of IT infrastructure and security services.
  • Management and maintenance of backup and recovery platforms, firewalls, and network security.
  • Resolution of technical escalations and documentation of technical solutions and operational procedures.
  • Auditing user access and activities, and incident response and analysis.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT security and platform administration.
  • Tertiary qualification in IT or a related discipline.
  • Superior technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of security standards, including OWASP, NIST, and ISO.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Azure Services.
  • Cisco Certified Networking Professional or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge of core IT infrastructure platforms and networking and security technologies.
