Role Responsibilities

The Cybersecurity Platform Administrator will play a crucial role in managing IT security and compliance services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality technical outcomes for all assigned tasks.
  • Implementing and maintaining IT infrastructure and security services.
  • Managing vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with PCI standards.
  • Overseeing security information and event management (SIEM).
  • Administering anti-virus platforms and ensuring security patch management.
  • Conducting rapid responses to security incidents in line with established protocols.
  • Collaborating with external vendors to meet business requirements.
  • Maintaining documentation of technical solutions and operational procedures.
  • Auditing user access and activities to uphold security standards.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT security.
  • A tertiary qualification in IT or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of security standards such as OWASP, NIST, and ISO.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure services.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator or Cisco Certified Networking Professional.
  • Expertise in networking and security technologies, including firewalls and IDS/IPS.
