From its magnificent site in Sydney, the Art Gallery of NSW is one of Australia's flagship art museums and the state's leading visual arts institution.
Its mission is to serve the widest possible audience as a centre of excellence for the collection, preservation, documentation, interpretation and display of Australian and international art and a forum of scholarship, art education and the exchange of ideas.
Due to the opening of a new state-of-the-art building located next to the existing and much-loved building, the campus has expanded and there is now close to double the exhibition space, enabling the Gallery to share more art with more people and provide more family, learning and educational programming for all audiences.
Leading the newly combined Philanthropy and Major Gifts Department, this key position is responsible for stewarding and nurturing over 1000 active and generous patrons of the Art Gallery and being the key senior contact for the Art Gallery of NSW Foundation.
Simultaneously developing and implementing fundraising campaigns to support the Gallery's strategic objectives, including major capital projects, art acquisitions and programmatic initiatives.
A proven track record of non-profit fundraising and robust major giving experience is essential and will be combined with your passion to champion the deep cultural of philanthropy at exists at the Art Gallery and amongst its supporters.
Another key objective will be driving the universal adoption of a CRM and data driven approach to cultivation, the donor journey, major gifts and moves management.
