The Foundation is a private not-for-profit philanthropic organisation dedicated to supporting the youth mental health research and treatment Centre. The Centre is renowned for its innovative mental health programs targeting young Australians aged 5-25 years.

About the Role

This leadership position reports directly to the Centre Director and Chair, focusing on growing and sustaining the Foundation's revenue. With a strong emphasis on high-net-worth individuals, the Head of Philanthropy will explore additional funding opportunities and raise the profile of the Centre's work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Foundation in collaboration with the Board Chair and Centre Director.
  • Maintain close relationships with existing donors and conduct prospect research to cultivate new donors.
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities across government and private sectors, building high-level relationships to support the Foundation.
  • Create and implement a bespoke donor acknowledgement and engagement strategy.
  • Provide financial and pipeline development updates, including realistic forecasting, to consistently meet and grow revenue targets.
Essential Criteria
  • Demonstrated experience in building a philanthropy program and securing revenue.
