The role:

In this highly influential role, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be accountable for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of our Quality, Safety & Document Management systems and activities at our Visy Board Truganina site.

You will be an autonomous, engaged and a hands-on all-rounder passionate about safety and driving efficiency in operations with the potential to be rewarded with significant opportunities for professional growth and development and a base salary of $70 - 75k plus super.

The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Drive the standardisation of processes and the implementation of best practices in support of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
  • Assist in maintaining and improving of operational systems and the developing of processes and procedures
  • Implementation and management of continuous improvement principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes
  • Improvement of machinery and processes impacting Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost
  • Provide training to factory personal on improvement actives and processes in line with business requirements
  • General Site Administrative Requirements

What you will bring to the team:

  • Previous experience in document control and safety/quality management
  • Previous experience in coordinating and monitoring engineering projects
  • Self-driven and ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong computer literacy, with working knowledge of manufacturing systems. SAP experience would also be beneficial but not required.
  • Excellent time management, with the ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great organisational skills
  • High levels of attention to detail and a passion for streamlining and enhancing efficiencies
