About you
As our Rural Programs Administrative Officer, you'll have excellent customer service and administration skills, as well as highly developed communication and interpersonal skills. Ideally, you'll be someone who can work independently as well as part of a wider team. To thrive in this role, you'll have:

  • experience in supporting the delivery of the AGPT program or similar program.
  • proven administration skills and/or event coordination
  • excellent communications skills with a strong track record in managing the coordination of competing tasks and priorities.
  • ability to autonomously resolve complex issues through the gathering and analysis of information to achieve the best outcome.
  • experience working in health and/or education setting.

About the opportunity
Reporting to the Manager Rural Pathways and Rural Generalist Training, you'll support the Rural Programs Portfolio in reviewing, planning, implementing, and monitoring policies and processes that underpin/enhance the rural programs. In addition, you'll:

  • contribute to process reviews aimed at adhering to best practice methods and maintaining interface with other business requirements and systems.
  • participate in presentations associated with training requirements and processes across the regions.
  • work with administrative staff and leaders to ensure an appropriate interface is maintained between rural programs and other business processes.
  • attend and provide administrative support to rural programs related educational activities and events handling and distribution of rural programs related correspondence as required.
