We are currently seeking a Configuration Manager/Controller to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria.

The Configuration Manager/Controller will lead configuration management activities related to the IFV Materiel System, encompassing the Mission and Training Systems.

As a Configuration Manager/Controller, your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing Configuration Management CDRL documents such as CMP, CSAR, and BSC.
  • Participating in Configuration Management meetings and workshops.
  • Assuring compliance with configuration management policies and maintaining robust materiel system configuration baselines.
  • Managing engineering changes within the Land domain's configuration management tool.
  • Supporting the development and updating of internal management plans, including the Configuration Management Plan.

To excel in the role of Configuration Manager/Controller, you should have:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in executing tasks within a Configuration Management framework.
  • Experience in Configuration Management processes and ensuring compliance with L400 Program Legal & Probity requirements.
  • Ability to learn and use Configuration Management tools.
  • Experience in developing and reviewing Configuration Management artifacts and documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, confidence, and self-motivation.

Desirable but not mandatory experience includes:

  • Knowledge and experience in Defence Projects, the Defence Capability Life Cycle, and Defence Configuration Management processes.
  • Experience with ASDEFCON contract suite and proficiency in reviewing Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) documentation.
  • Familiarity with Configuration Management Tool – Land (CMT-L).
