Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Marken Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for directing the receipt, storage, and distribution of clinical related products and temperature-controlled shipments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Management: Oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of products, ensuring compliance with company policies, GDP, and safety requirements.
- Operational Oversight: Manage receiving, warehousing, packing, and maintenance operations, initiating and enforcing optimal operational policies and procedures.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements, maintaining standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security.
- Client and Supplier Liaison: Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies as necessary, working collaboratively within our Marken branch network nationally and internationally.
- Team Leadership: Lead, orient, coach, and motivate employees, ensuring effective communication within the team and with the branch and network.
- Reporting and Quality Control: Produce necessary reports and receive feedback, monitoring the quality of services provided.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Proven work experience leading a Warehouse/Distribution operation, with expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Experience with airfreight operations, import/export operations, and related regulatory requirements, including IATA regulations and Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to effectively manage staff, with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with experience working in a GDP environment and handling temperature-controlled shipments.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases, with strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
