Mackay Regional Council is seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position based at the Paget Depot.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement programs to deliver ongoing operations and maintenance of the council's Control system and SCADA network.
- Design and configuration of operational systems to ensure efficient and effective operation of water, sewerage, and waste services in line with Council objectives.
- Ensure all SCADA and control system works are completed in accordance with MRC standards and specifications.
- Tertiary qualifications in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Qualifications acceptable for membership of the Institute of Engineers Australia at a member level.
- General Construction Induction Training.
- QLD 'C' Class Drivers Licence or interstate equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years previous experience with programming and configuration of SCADA, Telemetry & control systems.
- Candidates with Allen-Bradley PLC and GeoSCADA experience will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of procurement processes including monitoring and managing consultants, contractors, suppliers, and service level agreements.
