The Role & The Team:

As the Aviation Safety Liaison Specialist, the successful applicant will undertake a range of tasks in support of aviation safety liaison and engagement activities with customers and aviation stakeholders. Activities will include document and record management; coordination of deliverables; coordination of requests for safety information; and liaison with customers on aviation safety engagement activities in consultation across the organisation. You will also provide support across safety communications and learning activities.

Aviation Safety Liaison Specialist - Position

The Person

The successful applicant will have:

  • Proven and demonstrated experience in safety coordination preferably with the aviation industry.
  • A Certification in Safety or a related field desirable.
  • Highly developed skills of coordination, scheduling, record management and organisation to plan activities, identify resources to accomplish tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Effective data skills to break information into component parts, patterns and relationships while probing for further information to a problem.
  • Effective verbal communication skills to speak clear and fluently while expressing opinions and information.
  • Effective written communication skills which structures information to meet the needs and understanding of the intended audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and liaise with diverse stakeholders to meet customer needs and satisfaction.
