The Opportunity

  • As the Head of HR, you will be part of the leadership team, working toward business goals, and leading the HR service.
  • In this exciting and pivotal role, you will oversee, refine, and mature HR processes, and systems, ensuring seamless alignment with the global standards.
  • Supported by a small team, you will drive recruitment and talent management, organisational design and development, employee relations, compliance, compensation, system optimisation and strategic HR initiatives.
  • This role offers a great opportunity to work as part of a professional, driven leadership team, and help design and execute the people strategy.
  • There will be opportunities for travel both Australia and abroad.

About you

  • Are you a dynamic and experienced HR leader ready to join a professional leadership team, and make an impact? This role requires someone with positive energy, who can work as part of an executive team, design a people strategy for the business, and then be hands on in delivering the strategy.
  • You will be the lead for HR for Australia, responsible for the HR service delivery, while being part of the global HR team.
  • This role would suit someone with experience supporting industrial and production-based workforces, ideally have worked in a multi-site environment, manufacturing & mining preferred.
  • You have experience on a company leadership team, worked for global business and enjoy coaching leaders and developing a team.

Degree in Human Resources, MBA or related

  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience, and at least 5 years of leadership
  • Experience within operational site based employees and, with global metric reporting lines
