About the Opportunity

As a key member of the team, reporting to the CEO, you will lead a small team encompassing Recruitment, HR Advisory, and Payroll. In this hands-on role, you will manage a diverse HR/IR portfolio, offering support to our corporate and project teams operating nationwide. Spending significant time at our PYBAR head office in Orange NSW and traveling to various sites, you will act as a natural influencer, change advocate, and culture leader. Leveraging your extensive employment relations background, you will display a keen sense of risk and intuition in managing and escalating matters effectively.

Collaborating closely with the CEO and the leadership team, you will be tasked with overseeing HR and IR Strategies throughout the organization. Your responsibilities will include leading HR projects, establishing people-related business objectives, and ensuring team success.

About You

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in HR leadership within Mining or Heavy Industry, with a track record of over 10 years in developing impactful HR strategies
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leadership
  • Skilled in team building, coaching, and mentoring within HR
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Adept at building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Prior experience in organizations undergoing transformative growth
