Your Role
Joining a dynamic HR team of 5, as an HR Officer, you will serve as the primary contact for general HR queries, route issues to the appropriate HR Advisor or Business Partner, and provide administrative support to the team while contributing to various HR projects.

This position is available due to an internal promotion and can be temporary, temp-to-perm, or permanent, starting promptly.

Reporting to the Head of HR, your responsibilities may involve:

  • Managing the HR inbox and addressing HR queries via email or phone;
  • Being the initial contact point for HR-related questions, offering a customer-focused service to employees and managers;
  • Coordinating with HR Advisors, Business Partners, and the Head of HR on escalated matters and communication to stakeholders;
  • Assisting with employee changes, drafting letters, and updating relevant systems;
  • Supporting HR policy adherence and compliance across the organization;
  • Contributing to HR projects in communication, record-keeping, and representation at company events;
  • Handling employee onboarding and offboarding tasks;
  • Providing HR data, metrics, and reports;
  • Managing sensitive information and inquiries.

About You
You should be a proactive and people-oriented administrator with at least a year of experience in HR administration or coordination. A basic knowledge of Australian HR practices and ideally a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in HR would be beneficial.
