The current mine site locations are in the Northeastern Goldfields of WA, with multiple mining operations both open pit and underground.

Description:

The Opportunity


Reporting to the Site Business Manager, the Supply Superintendent is primarily responsible for maintaining all aspect of site inventory requirements, materials planning, warehousing and related purchasing activities (direct charge and stock orders).

This role is site based, working on an 8:6 FIFO roster.

About the Role

Application of inventory / demand management practices to maintain optimum inventory levels for material demands for all operational sites.
Provision of support to warehousing staff to ensure the achievement of optimum efficiencies in stores and logistics;
Developing and shaping the inventory, warehousing and logistics function (functional and procedural) and drive efficiencies so that operational sites receive the required materials whilst minimising supply chain risk;
Application of procurement and commercial practices by utilising the source-to-contract lifecycle process including planning, strategy, market engagement, negotiation, contract execution and contract management) to achieve the best business and operational outcomes; and
Supporting the procurement of lower risk spend categories as required.

Skills and Experiences:

About You

Incumbents would normally hold tertiary qualifications in supply management and have extensive supply and warehouse experience;
Demonstrate previous experience in leading a team;
Demonstrated experience in delivering system improvements;
Previous experience with Pronto, Qlik and budgeting; and
A demonstrated track record of proactively leading safety initiatives and influencing positive behaviours in the team.
