  • On behalf of our global Oilfield organisation, NES Fircroft are excited to be looking for an experienced Supply Chain Lead to join the team in Kenwick.
  • The purpose of this position is to assist with the deployment of Supply Chain strategies, coordinate supply chain services and activities as well as monitor processes of multiple portfolios, including subsea operations/projects

Key Accountabilities:

  • Analyse information about supplier performance and/or procurement program success
  • Analyse inventories to determine improvements to increase inventory turns, reduce waste or optimise customer service
  • May negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders
  • Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists
  • Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply activities
  • Document supply processes such as workflows or cycle times
  • May meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics or to provide performance feedback
  • Update SAP with relevant supply chain and supplier/vendor data
  • Run system reports and analyses data as required
  • Ensure objectives set under Employee Development Plan are met
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues relating to supply of products or services
  • Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to company's reputation is minimised. If necessary, report possible violations or conflicts of interest
  • Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes and systems. Take an active part in quality improvement processes. Identify and report any deficiencies to supervisor and obtain authorisation for any deviations from standard procedures
  • Actively comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Promote HSE awareness; take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others.

Requirements:

6+ years experience of Supply Chain Management with a global oilfield service company required:

  • Strong negotiation and strategic skills
  • An understanding of offshore projects would be beneficial
  • Behaves in a fair, honest and ethical manner toward others; adheres to Company Code of Conduct
  • Identifies with and shows understanding or concern for others; values diversity
  • Communicates clearly in written and/or oral form
  • Inventive; can develop original solutions to problems
  • Encourages a participative process; has a 'winwin' orientation
