This is a market-leading organisation providing specialised transport and logistics services to a range of industries Australia-wide. They have a clear corporate vision, an experienced management team, and a strong outlook for 2023 and beyond.

With new investment and an ambitious growth plan, they are currently looking for multiple Customer Service Officers based out of their North Sydney depot.

These are permanent, full-time position and have morning shifts available. You will be responsible for ensuring all deliveries and pickups are satisfied within the requested time frames.

Day to responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Handling all Customer Servicerelated matters imports and exports freight air and sea
  • Documentation procession, Manifest reporting and assisting with customs clearances
  • Checking and approving vendor invoices in a timely manner for payments
  • Processing of bills of lading, invoices, arrival notices, delivery orders and other shipping related documentation
  • Managing export shipment bookings with shipping lines, coloaders and airfreight vendors to ensure accurate and timely shipments
  • Manifest reporting (CMR) and processing outbound EDN's/PRA's
  • Coordinating with customers and warehouse gatein/gateout instructions using VMS
  • Monitoring to ensure transport jobs are performed smoothly to avoid service failure
  • Followingup SOP's to ensure compliance with customers' requirements

In this role you will need to have:

  • Confident learning new computer systems and internal procedures
  • You will need at least 1 year of freight forwarding and customer service experiences or may have recently graduated with a qualification related to supply chain/logistics
  • Be an excellent team player and be able to work effectively under pressure
  • Knowledge of import and export processes of commercial cargo air and sea
  • Willingness to be part of a successful team delivering a high level of service
  • Must have full working rights in Australia
  • WMS experience as an advantage but not essential


We are looking for an action orientated, forward thinker and organisational pro who has a background in Customer Service, communicating and coordinating with multiple parties.
