SMAART Recruitment have partnered with a Melbourne based hospitality management company to recruit a Payroll Officer and Accounts Support role. This company manage some of Melbourne's best event venues and restaurants and are in South Wharf. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company on a full-time permanent basis.

About the role:
As a key member of the finance department, your role will be primarily within the payroll space with some accounts support. Responsibilities will include end to end payroll including processing weekly payroll, maintaining and updating time and attendance systems, ensuring compliance of current regulations and completing necessary payroll reports. Accounting support duties include processing of supplier invoices, weekly processing of payments and reconciliation duties.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses exceptional organisational and strong communication skills.

What skills do you need to have?

  • 3-5 years' experience in payroll and accounting

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
