As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely payroll processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing exceptional support to our employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain payroll system and ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing
- Process and manage fortnightly payroll, including statutory compliance and superannuation
- Collaborate with the People team to ensure effective payroll process and resolve payroll queries timely and effectively
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the payroll process and maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive payroll information
- Process supplier bills and perform accounting duties, including invoices verification, record keeping, and reconciliations
- Process payments to both domestic and overseas suppliers and expense claims in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
- Minimum 4 years' hands-on payroll processing experience
- Minimum 1 year's hands-on experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Solid understanding of payroll operations with exposure to Superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax, and work compensation
- Experience in the use of Netsuite, Excel, Google Suite, Slack
- Knowledge of accounting concepts and the general ledger
