In the role of Digital Product Manager, you'll play a vital part in Wholesale Strategic Change, supporting HSBC's initiative of Large-Scale Digitalization. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Change, you'll focus on developing the Digital Product strategy for the Wholesale Bank, crafting innovative solutions that cater to evolving business needs. This involves collaborating with stakeholders across Wholesale banking, using Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) and Digitization technologies.

Your key duties will include:

  • Defining a clear product vision and strategy aligned with Wholesale Bank objectives, leading digital product development from inception to launch, ensuring they meet market demands.
  • Collaborating with teams in technology, design, marketing, operations, and client coverage to ensure successful product delivery and adoption.
  • Conducting market research and competitive analysis to drive innovation and differentiation.
  • Incorporating customer feedback to enhance user experience and satisfaction throughout the product development cycle.
  • Implementing agile practices to facilitate efficient product development, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
  • Building relationships and engaging with key support functions like Risk, Compliance, Legal, etc., to drive Digital transformations.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience as a Product Owner in the financial services sector, ideally in commercial banking or fintech.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, capable of inspiring cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in digital technologies, software development, and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problems-solving abilities with a data-driven decision-making approach.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Empathy for customer and colleague needs, dedicated to delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Commercial acumen, with a focus on balancing risks and rewards for business profitability.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.

Candidates with Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship will be given preference, or those with unrestricted work rights in Australia.
