Assuming the position of Digital Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role within Wholesale Strategic Change, crucial for supporting HSBC's Digitization strategy at scale. Reporting to the Wholesale Head of Strategic Change, your primary focus will involve formulating the Digital Product strategy for the Wholesale Bank and creating digital features to deliver seamless, efficient, and innovative solutions that cater to evolving business needs. This role entails regular collaboration with stakeholders across the Wholesale banking sector to grasp requirements and objectives, mapping the customer journey to devise solutions utilizing Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) and Digital technologies.

Key responsibilities:

  • Defining and communicating a cohesive product vision and strategy aligned with our Wholesale Bank's business goals. Leading the entire lifecycle of digital product development, from concept to launch, to ensure they meet market requirements and provide exceptional value to our team members and clients.
  • Collaborating closely with diverse teams, including technology, design, marketing, operations, and client relations, to guarantee successful delivery and adoption of digital products.
  • Conducting comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to pinpoint opportunities for innovation and differentiation. Advocating for the voice of the customer by integrating feedback and insights into the product development process to enrich user experience and satisfaction.
  • Implementing agile methodologies for efficient and iterative product development, fostering a culture of continual enhancement. Setting objectives and key results (OKRs) and leveraging data-driven insights to monitor product performance and make informed choices.
  • Constructing business cases, business realization plans, and ideation cases to introduce new features and advance the Digital agenda.
  • Forging strong relationships, embracing a collaborative approach, and ensuring consistent and constructive interaction with vital support departments such as Risk, Compliance, Legal, etc., in propelling Digital transformations.
