The Role
We are now seeking a Brand Manager to join our Premium Fashion Agency client in their gorgeous showroom setting.


As a Brand Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing a leading portfolio of brands within QLD/NSW/NZ, maximising the potential of each brand whilst adhering to their specific branding needs.


As a member of the sales team, you will be a key driver in building a strong customer base and foundations for brand longevity and sales growth, to positively impact the brand performance.

The key focus of the Brand Manager is to exceed the set quarterly sales and commission targets on a seasonal basis.


Strong brand and product knowledge of Australian/International brands and the marketplace to is essential, as well as the ability to keep up with changes in the market such as new stores, new trends, new brands, new categories, and cultural/environmental influences.


  • 3+ years experience in a sales or account management role in the retail, wholesale or fashion industry
  • Highly organised, selfmotivated team player with a strategic mindset
  • A willingness to learn wholesale business practices (margins, pricing architecture and negotiations)
  • The ability to prioritise and multitask in an incredibly fastpaced environment
  • Strong numeracy, analytical and communication skills and great attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of account management in terms of distribution, territories, new trends and stores
  • Knowledge and understanding of the retail landscape and correct brand alignment
  • Expertise in software such as Joor, Nuorder and experience with google drive, Excel, Mailchimp and Canva are desirable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a portfolio of brands in collaboration with your direct report, supported by the wider team.
  • Manage your schedule with existing and potential accounts for each brand, including the booking process and conducting of appointments.
  • Nurture and Manage accounts
  • Manage the sales and showroom strategy for your portfolio to deliver financial excellence and exceed quarterly targets
  • Collaborate with your NSW Brand Managers to ensure a clear sales strategy
  • Manage the showing process in the showroom, face to face, over the phone, by written correspondence and onroad. This also includes merchandising/ ranging and requires a continued focus to ensure collections are always presentable and accessible.
  • Ensure sales targets are reached or exceeded for each brand through correct placement, retargeting, and reviewing and revising of all orders.
  • Proactively keep up to date with new and potential accounts
  • Meet your sales deadlines: close within the designated sales period
  • Prepare sales reports at end of each sell, and analyze and interpret your results
  • Update and manage the evolving database for your brand portfolio
  • Keep a high level of organization at all times, and ensure all processes remain uniform with the client's standards
  • Monitor your brands seasonal budgets
  • Drive inseason reorders strategically to ensure maximum growth
  • Identify new business opportunities (brands & accounts): Assist with sourcing new labels, appropriate for the Agency
  • Monitor weekly sellthrough reports
  • Work flexibly during sales campaigns with interstate travel opportunities

Account Management

  • Establish, maintain and nurture relationships with your brands and their wider teams, to establish trust and display commitment
  • Consult with each of your brands to ensure optimum sales windows, strategic brand positioning and sales growth.
  • Communicate clearly, consistently and punctually with your brands at all times, both verbally and written
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism reflective of the client's image/reputation, provide feedback where required

Team Sales Support

  • Support other brand managers and staff, work as a team to strategies, reach targets and meet deadlines
  • Communicate with Showroom or Branch Manager to ensure all tasks are completed seamlessly
  • Comanage brands where required to reach optimal sales results

Customer Service

  • Establish, maintain and nurture relationships with existing, new and potential accounts.
  • Run and partake in staff training where necessary, attend product nights, instore events, activations and promotions
  • Maintain a high standard of grooming reflective of the client's image/reputation
