The opportunity:
Reporting to the National Retail Manager, we are looking for an experienced Area or Regional Manager to oversee our retail portfolio in NSW and ACT.
As the State Manager, your key objectives are to drive sales, lead and foster a positive workplace culture and develop people internally for future success.
You will have a thorough understanding of retail as well as executing Brand Collective goals & strategies to achieve KPI's.
As we are in a growth phase, we are looking for someone who would be eager to grow within the business, with the support of an Area Manager.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Lead a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by recommending strategies to improve performance across sales, staff, and stock
- Drive, coach and deliver exceptional customer service standards for your region
- Achieve KPI targets and ensure staff are aware and trained on the importance of KPI targets and how to achieve them
- A capacity to prepare monthly rosters costed to achieve store budgets
- Manage any escalated store or customer complaints if need be, ensuring they're dealt with promptly and professionally
- Be confident managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment
- Nurturing the growth and development of your direct reports to create a talent pipeline within our retail network
The skills and experience you offer us:
- Experience as a Regional/Area/Cluster or Multi-Site manager in a retail business
- Previously managed all KPIs, retail metrics and industry standards successfully
- Strong financial acumen
- Strong communication skills: resilience and ability to influence
- People focused and motivational leadership qualities
- Ability to think on their feet and move with a sense of urgency
- Make decisions both as a team and independently
- Listen and be inclusive of team/peers
