About Mental Health Services at Albury Wodonga Health (AWH)
Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) is established in the twin cities of Albury and Wodonga, between Sydney and Melbourne. Our dedicated team of nearly 3,000 staff supports a population of 250,000 people throughout North-East Victoria and Southern NSW. We operate two main hospital campuses and 22 sites offering various services including emergency, community, mental health, allied health, and sub-acute services.
AWH serves as an Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, providing mental health treatment, care, and support, including Alcohol and Other Drugs services. We offer a range of community-based programs, acute care services, and facilities dedicated to recovery and rehabilitation. Our team includes mental health clinicians with expertise in nursing, occupational therapy, social work, and psychology, providing diverse experiences and opportunities for professional growth.
About the Role
The Clinical Lead position involves maintaining high clinical standards in a multidisciplinary Infant Child & Youth Service. Responsibilities include providing clinical leadership, training, supervision, and coordinating research initiatives to enhance mental health outcomes for young individuals and their families. Collaboration with the ICYMHS Program Manager is essential to ensure exceptional mental healthcare delivery and positive outcomes. Strategic relationships with key stakeholders will be developed to drive performance targets and maintain high treatment standards.
