About Mental Health Services at Albury Wodonga Health (AWH)
Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) is established in the twin cities of Albury and Wodonga, located between Sydney and Melbourne. Our team of nearly 3,000 staff supports a population of 250,000 people throughout North-East Victoria and Southern NSW. Our network includes two hospital campuses and 22 sites offering emergency, community, mental health, allied health, and sub-acute services.
AWH is an Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, delivering mental health treatment, care, and support, including Alcohol and Other Drugs services. We provide specialized community-based programs, acute care services, facilities dedicated to recovery and rehabilitation, as well as support for families dealing with parental mental illness.
Our Mental Health and Wellbeing teams consist of clinicians with backgrounds in nursing, occupational therapy, social work, and psychology, all experienced in various therapies to help individuals. The diversity of our services offers opportunities for professional growth and clinical practice development.
About the Role
Youth Early Intervention Team (YEIT) is a multidisciplinary team within Child & Youth Mental Health Service. The clinician will work autonomously as part of the assertive outreach team, providing clinical interventions to young people and families dealing with complex mental health disorders. They will also contribute to education, consultation, treatment coordination, and planning, with a focus on assertive outreach and recovery principles.
