Salvation Army Housing (SAH) provides a mix of crisis, social and affordable housing to persons who are homeless or at risk of homelessness across Australia.

As one of the largest social housing providers in Australia, SAH works with the most vulnerable in our communities, supporting them with accommodation needs and other supports as part of The Salvation Army.

About the Role

Gain valuable real - life experience and insights through this great opportunity as a Business Development Coordinator.

You will be part of the Salvation Army Housing team and will be responsible for the creation of compelling and successful tenders, supporting the operations teams across all entities and jurisdictions that Salvos Housing operates in.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Research: monitoring of federal and state government tender websites for new housing opportunities and potential funding
  • Reporting: develop and maintain a suite of reports on tender pipelines, statistics, project volumes and links between new opportunities and funding arrangements
  • Administration: maintain the master records for tenders, grants and other associated housing or funding submissions.
About You

Key capabilities:

  • A degree in business, commence or related field is desirable or demonstrated high level of industry knowledge in NFP, social or community housing sector
  • Previous experience in business development and advocacy
  • Knowledge and familiarity with tendering systems, frameworks and government tender sites.
