Business Bank (BB) offers a wide range of services and solutions to our small to medium, enterprise customers and our regional and agribusiness customers. We also take care of our personal and institutional online trading customers. Everyday Business Banking (EBB) team supports the full spectrum of customers' needs from start-up businesses to institutional customers, including product management, analytics and customer strategy.

Merchant Solutions supports our clients to operate and grow their business, through the provision of innovative payment solutions that help them better engage with their customers and suppliers. We are accountable for the end-to-end business customer experience and the delivery of analytical capabilities to support our business customers. The eCommerce Crew within Merchant Solutions manage CommBank's online payment acquiring portfolio, including well known products such as BPOINT, Powerboard and CommWeb.

Lead and define the product vision, goals and roadmap. Lead the end-to-end development of the product roadmap ensuring maximum output and quality from the squad. Apply domain expertise to support prioritisation and successful achievement of business and squad objectives. In this role you will lead a squad within the eCommerce crew and manage activities such as supplier ownership, product compliance and lead the end to end product ownership through delivery of the roadmap and the in life product lifecycle management.

Manage the squad's performance to defined objectives including OKR tracking, etc.Drive project exploration and inception to ensure alignment of product strategy.Act as the voice of the customer and business, translating this for the squad.Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design.Formulate hypotheses to validate customer problems and define clear learning objectives that will inform product roadmap and prioritisation decisions.Maintain a healthy prioritised Backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes.Manage the merchant lifecycle, implementing improvements as required.Ensure developer documentation is up to date, meeting the needs of users.Ensure customers, developers and suppliers have the support they require and problems resolved.Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions and resolving escalations.Identify, articulate and manage risks and compliance across streams of work.Lead and develop the product roadmap, and engagement with senior stakeholders/ business units to manage the delivery of product roadmap.Lead the squad day-to-day to deliver change and lifecycle activities.Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure that prioritisation is understood and agreed to.Have proven Product Owner experience, ideally within Acquiring, Issuing, Payments or eCommerce segmentsAn understanding of Visa / MasterCard / eftpos card schemesA passion for product ownership & solving customer problemsExperience working with third party suppliers including management of the relationshipGreat team leader with experience leading client services or technical support teamsAre strong communicators, both Verbal and WrittenA curiosity for all-things-digital, keeping tabs on the latest technology trendsDeveloped Thought leadership, decision making and prioritisation skillsExperience in liaising with a range of stakeholders from senior managers to technical developer teamsHighly analytical skills with a strong commercial acumen
