We're currently seeking an Operations Administrator for our client, a top-tier IT distributor specializing in data storage and security solutions. This position is due to the expansion of their team, aiming to bolster operational capabilities. As a prominent player in the IT industry, our client is committed to delivering cutting-edge technology solutions in the Australian market. In this role, you'll be a key contributor to our operational framework. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 9-5) with the perk of free parking.

Key Responsibilities:

Foster and uphold robust relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-efficient procurement of goods and services.Create and manage purchase orders with precision, considering pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.Aid in the despatch process to guarantee accurate and prompt shipment of goods to customers.Collaborate closely with the warehouse team to streamline inventory levels, reduce carrying costs, and maintain adequate stock levels.Day to day administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Min 1 year of experience in a comparable purchasing position, ideally within the IT sector.
  • Proficiency in analyzing pricing and supplier terms to make well-founded purchasing choices.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, capable of fostering and sustaining strong supplier relationships.
  • Competent in utilizing procurement software and other pertinent tools like Microsoft Office to enhance operational efficiency.
