BW Offshore are looking for a Training & Competency Coordinator to join our growing Darwin team. As part of the onshore team in Australia, the successful applicant will play a vital role in assisting the Training & Competency team to ensure that all staff members receive adequate training and possess the necessary skills, in alignment with both company and Australian standards.

Some travel to other operational offices may be expected.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Support the assigned unit/s in the timely administration of the Training & Competence Assessment program. Prepare regular reports on Training & Competence progress and compliance status. Coordinate and plan for training and employee attendance. Maintain personnel training & competence files in the system for all local employees, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality is maintained. Source local training providers, initiate an audit, and vendor qualification in collaboration with Supply Chain. Facilitate the periodic review of the Training Matrix and Competence Matrix of employees and update changes in the system to ensure ongoing compliance. Support in maintaining the training & competence SharePoint for the assigned unit/s. Collaborate with Competence Team to ensure quality and standardize program implement on the assigned unit/s. Day to day support to Assessors. Participate in Competence Team meetings.

Qualifications

A Certificate, Diploma, or qualifications in Training and/or Workplace Assessment, or a similar, would be advantageous. Relevant experience may replace formal education The more specific we are in this section, the thinner the stack of applicants.
