This is an opportunity to join our expanding team of highly experienced and passionate people who want to make Australia a better place. We currently have a vacancy for an Administrative Assistant to join our team.

Further Information:

This role will be based at our Croydon Office though will require flexibility to travel to, and work from, multiple Better Place Australia office locations regularly, including Cheltenham and Narre Warren. Some evening work until 8pm will be required. Download the PD for more information.

 Key work tasks will include:

  • Reception duties
  • Supporting practitioners
  • Greeting clients
  • Answering phone calls
  • Responding to enquiries
  • Payment management
  • Supporting senior administrative personnel with special projects
  • Maintenance of a professional office environment
  • Coordination of general office facilities.

To be considered for appointment, you will possess demonstrated experience in a similar administrative and customer service focused role, a good understanding of computing concepts and well developed written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to communicate with clients and other members of the public.

The appointee will be required to travel to, and work from, various Better Place locations including Cheltenham, Broadmeadows, Oakleigh, Croydon, and Narre Warren as required.  Some evening work until 8:00pm will be required.

Having regard to the nature of service provision that Better Place Australia provides to its clientele, cultural awareness, and the ability to be sensitive to the needs of clients who may be experiencing challenging personal circumstances, is required.
