About the role:
Scaling financial services organisation are seeking an innovative and strategic leader to join the team as the Head of Product. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in building out the organisation's lending product offerings including the loan origination and decisioning platforms. 

As the Head of Product, you will be instrumental in driving the company's mission to deliver niche financial solutions to their diverse customer base. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, where your ideas and expertise will be valued and celebrated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive product roadmap, focused on creating lending solutions tailored to businesses across various industries
  • Oversee the development of decisioning frameworks and risk assessment models that align with the unique characteristics of target industries.
  • Lead the design and delivery of seamless loan origination processes to optimise both customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with risk, compliance, and operations teams to ensure all lending products meet regulatory standards and risk tolerance levels.
  • Align product strategies with the combined strengths of the recently merged companies to unlock new market potential.
  • Partner with technology, operations, marketing, and finance teams to deliver end-to-end product success.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and industry bodies, to drive product alignment and market adoption.
  • Build and inspire a high-performing product team capable of thriving in a fast-changing environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years in product leadership roles within financial services, with experience in specialised lending markets.
  • Strong understanding of loan origination processes, decisioning frameworks, and the risks involved in lending to specific business sectors.
  • Ability to develop long-term product strategies while staying responsive to evolving market needs.
  • Solid understanding of credit risk management and regulatory requirements.
  • Passionate about creating products that deliver real value to businesses, with a focus on enhancing customer experiences.
  • Skilled in using data insights to refine products and drive informed decision-making.
  • Track record of leading teams and working effectively with cross-functional departments.
