The Opportunity

Our Australian Steel Markets business is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the General Manager and wider leadership team, based in Mount Waverley, VIC.

This is an exciting time to join our company, as we have a series of key projects in the pipeline. We are investing in technology and capabilities to expand our successful business both now and in the future. By engaging with our business and strategic direction, you will gain visibility and enjoy a high profile, with opportunities to contribute and add value across a wide range of activities.

What Will You Do?

As a respected and engaged member of the team, you will support the General Manager, Australian Steel Markets, as well as collaborating with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary leadership team, by way of administration support, coordination, event planning and office management. You will:

  • manage the travel bookings and accommodation for key personnel
  • coordinate site visits by booking meeting rooms, arranging IT setup and ensuring the availability of necessary resources
  • assist in planning and organising various events, including employee functions, conferences, seminars, and workshops
  • lead and participate in various business improvement projects
  • work collaboratively with internal/external stakeholders

With your previous experience working alongside senior management, you thrive in collaborative environments. As a self-motivated, solution focused and innovative thinker, you will bring:
