Let's talk about you

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Coordinator to join our People & Culture team. This role will support various HR functions, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across the employee lifecycle. To be successful, you will possess:

  • A curious mind, ready to question our ways of working and improve our efficiency and employee experience.

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively as well as manage expectations of others.

  • Knowledge of a People and Culture environment and a strong understanding of policies and practices would be great

  • Experience in Workday would be awesome.

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting client focused People and Culture initiatives and working across the employee lifecycle.

  • An unequivocal commitment to the Aussie values and using them to make decisions.

  • Great communication ability and strong planning skills.

How will you support our “Why?”

This role is critical in assisting with Aussie staff queries, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration while maintaining compliance with Australian employment laws and company policies.

As our People Services Coordinator, working in our centralised People Services team you will put our values up in lights by delivering these activities and outcomes:

  • Providing advice and guidance to Aussie Broadband staff for first level and escalated People and Culture queries and help staff understand our People policies.

  • Managing the People and Culture workflow system (Jira) and triaging queries to the appropriate People and Culture role or team.

  • Maintaining and updating Aussie's core HR processes and HRIS system (Workday), ensuring accurate data for organisational structure, cost centres, reporting lines, and employee details.

  • Monitoring and updating data quality in Workday and other people systems to ensure we meet our compliance obligations.

  • Generating reports and provide other information as needed, supporting informed decision-making across Aussie.

  • Supporting and participating in projects and initiatives within People Services and the broader P&R team.

  • Working closely with key stakeholders like Payroll, WHS, Remuneration and Recruitment to ensure we provide a great people experience across the employee lifecycle.

  • Providing support for workplace relations cases relating to performance, misconduct, absences and investigations.
