After Hours Coordinator

About the Role

This is a key leadership position that is accountable for efficient and effective operational management of the hospital after-hours. The role supports and encompasses clinical care, planning, implementing and evaluating care practices, policy compliance, processes and services within the hospital. 

This role reports directly to the Director of Clinical Services

About You

  • To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective leader who has the ability to motivate others. 
  • You will bring extensive clinical skills and experience along with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage your time effectively and support the clinical and non-clinical teams to provide high quality patient centred care.
  • This role will suit both an experience nurse stepping up into leadership or a more experienced clinical manager.

You will also bring;

  • Relevant qualifications are Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse/Midwife or Registered Nurse
  • Desirable minimum 5 years postgraduate experience within Midwifery and /or Surgical Nursing
  • Demonstrated ability to be an effective role model in the area of clinical practice
  • Sound Computer skills in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Frances Perry House is a leading private maternity and women’s health hospital in Melbourne.

The hospital accommodates 93 beds including surgical and maternity units, Level 4 Special Care Nursery, 7 birthing suites, 4 operating theatres, a day surgery unit and urodynamics procedure room.

Requirements
